The benefits of higher mf, higher mana, and higher non-lightning-immune damage with Enigma+Eschuta outweigh the benefits of self-wielding enigma (higher lightning-immune damage and mana regen via merc Insight). Second, I will die on the hill that Enigma + Eschuta's is a better setup for ES Nova Sorc.
Hit Recovery only kicks in when a player loses 1/12 of their health from a hit, and that should basically never happen with an ES Sorc (unless you burned through your mana, in which case you're dead anyway).
